Barrier-free solutions

Barrier-free means to arrange the living spaces of all people as comfortable as possible. At bathrooms in facilities of the health sector it’s very important that handicapped people can utilise the sanitary facilities independently and unassistedly.

Planning guidelines

The mobility and independence of handicapped people is seriously constricted by barriers in sanitary rooms. Therefore barrier-free constructed toilet rooms are the most important condition for unhindered use of facilities. Every public toilet area has to have at least one barrier-free WC room available. Mind solid construction and carrying capacitiy of the wall construction.
